The Internet is going virtual neighborhood now.
Except it’s real neighborhood, too. Websites, like Nextdoor, are allowing real-life neighbors to connect on a private social site. New neighbors can join whenever. All of them can chat about the summer block party, the crummy weather, and the loud-butt garbage trucks that bang like Satan’s drum kit at five in the morning… except online.
They can also learn that each other exist, which is especially important in dense urban settings.
If you’re looking to connect to neighbors, read our article about meeting new neighbors, then check out sites like Nextdoor.
