- Talk to your movers about it. This is the ideal way to resolve the dispute.
- Don’t pay, and prepare for your movers to sue you or to try to collect.
- File for arbitration with the American Moving and Storage Association, if your movers are members.
- Sue your movers in court, if you’ve already paid.
