Many cities have their best months. In Chicago, it’s September. In Phoenix, it’s March. In Memphis, it’s May, and the city celebrates with music, art and food events spread throughout the city over the entire month. Unfortunately, this is not enough to make most Tennesseans think that Memphis out-cultures either Nashville or Knoxville.
