Washington D.C. is the pumping, political heart of our fine nation. But much like a heart has its own inner-workings, so too does Washington D.C. The city has one of the best commuter rail systems in the world, and its has thriving music and arts scenes that do not depend on government funding.
Of course, on any given day, you can be slowed up by a protest or two, but that’s just how it is.
