Moving companies are fallible, just like the rest of us. They are fully capable of breaking something valuable by stepping on it, dropping it, or smacking it on the corner of a wall.
But then what happens?
When movers break stuff, three things might happen:
- It goes unpaid
- The movers pay for it
- An insurance company pays for it
What happens in each particular case depends on the moving contract and policies in place. If a customer feels slighted, they can always try to sue in small claims court.
